Games Monopoly is a single-player game about mobile game KPIs. The game itself collects nothing about you. The iOS and Android apps show ads from Google AdMob, which keep the game free; this policy explains what that means.

What the game stores#

Your progress (best score, rank, collection, lessons, daily rewards, challenge progress, settings) and the optional name you type for certificates are saved only on your device. Uninstalling the game, or clearing the browser's site data on the web, deletes them. We never receive them.

Ads (iOS and Android apps)#

The apps show ads served by Google AdMob:

  • Rewarded ads you choose to watch, for example for a second chance, a hint, a bonus, a doubled daily reward, or 30 minutes without other ads.
  • Occasional full-screen ads between runs, and sometimes when you return to the app.
  • A banner at the bottom of menu screens (never during play), and a sponsored card in the Lessons and Collection screens, clearly marked as an ad.

The web version shows no ads.

To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. Google uses this as described in its policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

  • Consent. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown.
  • Tracking on iOS. The app asks for permission before using the advertising identifier. If you decline, you still get ads, but they are not personalised.
  • Opting out. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; Android: Settings › Google › Ads).

Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience.

Sharing#

When you tap Share, the game creates an image or a line of text on your device and hands it to your device's share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice; we do not see it.

Children#

The game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.

Changes#

If the game's data practices change, we will update this policy and the app store privacy details before that version is released.
