Flee to Allah: privacy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Flee to Allah is made by Enaayah. This page explains what the app does with information about you. The short version: the app collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no advertising and no tracking. What you write stays on your device.
What the app keeps, and where
Your resolutions, good deeds and treats, your history, your routine, each night's muhasabah (what you marked, the questions you answered, your lines of gratitude), your tasbeeh counts and your settings are kept in the app's own storage on your device, protected by iOS. We never receive them. The app makes no network requests.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting of our own, and no account or sign-in. It does not use the advertising identifier and never asks to track you.
Backups
A backup is made only when you ask, in Settings › Backups and your data. It is locked with a passphrase you choose, and we cannot open it. You decide where it goes (for example Files or iCloud Drive); wherever you keep it is covered by that service's own terms. Restoring a backup replaces what is on the device.
Reminders
Reminders you turn on (tonight's muhasabah, the morning's "Today's goals", or "Remind me in an hour" for a good deed) are set on your device by iOS. Their words never name your resolutions, goals or good deeds, so nothing of yours appears on the Lock Screen. The app switcher shows a plain cover, not your screen.
A page to share
If you choose A page to share in your history, the app makes a one-page PDF of a day, a week or a month on your device: the nights you kept, your routine and the good you kept, and your lines of gratitude or where you fell short only if you switch them on. It never shows your name or your answers to the night's questions. It goes only where you send it with the share sheet, and the app deletes its copy when the share sheet closes. Wherever you send it is covered by that service's own terms.
Photos
If you choose Save to Photos in the sticker book, the app adds that picture to your photo library. It can only add pictures; it cannot see or read your photos.
Action packs
An action pack is a file of ideas (resolutions, good deeds and treats) that you can make and pass on yourself, for example by AirDrop or Messages. A pack never holds your history or anything you marked, and names are taken out when one is made. We never host, list or receive packs.
Writing to us
Help and feedback opens your own email app with a message to contact@enaayah.com, with the app version, iOS version and device model at the end so we can help. When the app is in a language other than English, "Suggest a correction" also names that language (such as "fr"), so we know which translation to look at. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we use your email only to reply, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we receive no payment details or personal information.
Siri and Shortcuts
The app's four Siri actions only open a screen in the app. Siri requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; nothing is sent to us.
Children
Flee to Allah is made for adults. It is not directed at children, and it collects no information from anyone.
Deleting your information
Settings › Backups and your data › Delete everything removes everything the app holds on the device. Deleting the app does the same. Backups you saved elsewhere stay where you put them until you delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date.
